MARK PERMANENCE TEST
"Mark permanence" is, generally speaking, the ability of a product to remain legible after exposure to either abrasion or aggressive fluids. Impact has adopted the most widely accepted mark permanence tests for its products. When tested, Impact's, Advanced Wire Marking Sleeves and iTags show mark permanence quality beyond the minimum requirements. The sleeves exceed the minimum mark permanence requirements for SAE AS81531 (formerly MIL-M-81531).

CONVENIENT FORMAT
Flat, seamless heat shrinkable tubing is attached to fanfold paper with a reusable, adhesive tape backing. Fanfold paper also gives you the advantage of stacking and organizing after printing. The unique format provides a handy work-in-progress list and makes application a simple task for the installer.

PRINTING REQUIREMENTS
Our products are printed on the the AWMS 245 Plus Printer, that comes with a USB cable, 984' long ribbon and prints at 4 inches per second.
The AWMS Windows® based software is included for free.

PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS
The Advanced Wire Marking System produces wire marker sleeves and cable tags for the easy identification of electrical wire and mechanical tubing of all types. These wire marker sleeves and cable tags are not only permanent, but they are also economical to generate in-house as needed.

DURABLE PRODUCT
Our wire markers are manufactured from cross-linked polyolefin, a flame retardant material that will tolerate exposure to temperatures as high as 135°C. The wire marker sleeves conform to AMS-DTL 23053/5, Class 1 & 3 for material and functional requirements. Our iTags, manufactured from high density polyethylene conform to AMS-DTL 23053/6, Class 1 for material and functional requirements. Furthermore, they are resistant to common fluids, lubricants and solvents. Once printed, the wire marker sleeves and iTags are ready for installation without any additional treatment.
